Built From the Ground Up

Motayo Properties was founded on a simple conviction: that residential real estate, owned and managed with genuine care, creates lasting value — for tenants, for communities, and for the portfolio itself.

We are a holding and operating company. We source properties, we acquire them, we improve them, and we manage them — all in house. We do not offer property management services to outside owners. Our focus is entirely on our own portfolio.

Today, Motayo operates in two markets — Baltimore, MD and Houston, TX — with deep local roots in both cities and a long-term ownership mindset in everything we do.

We identify residential properties in Baltimore and Houston through market research, relationships, and local expertise. We underwrite every deal ourselves and only move when the numbers and the property make sense.

We Build & Improve

We renovate and reposition properties within our portfolio. Our in-house team oversees every project — scope, budget, and execution — to ensure the work is done right and on our timeline.

We Manage

Leasing, tenant relations, rent collection, maintenance — all handled internally. We do not outsource management. Our tenants deal directly with our team, and we hold ourselves accountable to a high standard.
